Transcend upgrade popular USB flash drive

Electronics company Transcend has released a new 8GB of its flagship USB flash drive Jet Flash.

The compact drive, known as the V30, which weighs only seven grams, was only previously available in capacities ranging from 512MB to 4GB.

The new version of the drive still boasts a number of features including Mobile Favourites, which allows users to access their favourite pages on any computer, Secret-Zip, letting owners encrypt files on the drive and DataBackup, a feature which backs up files stored on the drive.

Currently the V30 is available on the Indian markets for Rs. 2,000 (£25).

Meanwhile, innovative company Whazzat has unveiled a new USB flash drive with a unique chicken’s claw design.

The yellow USB flash drive, which comes in a 1GB edition, has been making waves on the firm’s website with buyers around the world registering an interest, the Wilton Bulletin reports.
