London – 21 May 2008 – Viacom Brand Solutions (VBS) – the sales house for MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon and Paramount Comedy – announces latest steps to bring the next socially responsible brand to our TV screens as part of its advertising “Force For Good” initiative.

Launching exclusively on Nick Jr, emerging drinks brand Good Natured, producer of environmentally friendly and ethically produced fruit juices will be the initiatives latest partner.

The VBS ‘Force For Good’ campaign, announced late last year, offers to match advertising investment pound for pound for organisations whose products or services promote social good. The Good Natured deal is the third of ten to be announced in 2008.

Good Natured TV spots will run on Nick Jr during popular preschool show Dora the Explorer. The bespoke TV campaign, created and planned by VBS, will specifically target mothers, promoting the latest entrant to the drinks market as a healthy fruit juice option for children. The campaign will reflect Good Natured products as a responsible choice for environmentally aware families.

Using fruit that comes from a Rainforest Alliance Certified farm, Good Natured produces juices made from concentrate, proven to leave a substantially reduced carbon footprint than juice not made from concentrate.

During 2008 VBS will announce a further seven deals across a range of brands promoting pro-social products such as healthy children’s food, energy efficient and recycled products.

In February, VBS announced the first deal in the FFG initiative to promote fire safety in the home with government department CLG and followed this up in March by announcing a deal with Kidsnax to promote fruit alternatives for children.

Nick Bampton, MD of VBS said: “Our partnership with Good Natured upholds VBS’ commitment to prove that advertising can be a force for good. Through this campaign we hope to broaden a mother’s understanding of ethical juice alternatives for her children, as products environmental and social credibility becomes a subject of increasing interest”.
