The skin reacts with a progressive tightening that further contours the new body core. This phenomenon is caused by the vibrating cannula against the dermis that triggers healing signals to recruit collagen producing cells. This study compared suction assisted lipolysis (SAL), laser assisted liposuction (LAL), power assisted liposuction (PAL), internal ultrasound assisted liposuction (iUAL), external assisted liposuction (eUAL), and VASSER assisted liposuction. Dr. Robinson arrived to the same conclusion based on his experience in the United States. Finally, CAL liposuction is built with a safety feature that deactivates the vibrating device when the cannula reaches a non-fat structure such as skin or muscle. In addition, since it is not a heat mediated fat melting process, CAL does not cause thermal injuries and, because it is performed under local anesthesia, the patient indicates whether there is a harmful stimulus or not.
