Innovative and wacky electronics company Whazzat has unveiled a new USB flash drive in the shape of a chicken’s claw.

The firm, which focuses its efforts on producing new and challenging designs, has made the foot-shaped drive in a one-off 1GB capacity version, the Wilton Bulletin reports.

And vice-president of Underdog Partners, the firm helping with the marketing of the product, Roy Barker revealed that the idea of the device was to bring novelty to a crowded market place.

“It was so weird, we thought it could make the biggest noise,” he said.

“They’re traversing the globe, It’s a dream come true for the agency,” he added.

Urging other producers of novelty USB Flash Drives and other unique products to step up and take a chance, he added: “It was an opportunity. People have all kinds of ideas, but it’s the people who act on them, that’s how they get to the market.”

The hard drive is available online for $39.99 (around £20).
