Will-Excel TESOL Boasts 43% Enrollment Increase in Q1

W

Harbin, Heilongjiang – The Will-Excel TESOL Institute announced on Monday that their Q1 reports reflected a 43% increase in enrollment from Q1 of 2009. The Institute attributes its jump to increased exposure on the web. Over the last six months, the Institute has completely redesigned their website, making it more user friendly, and has also launched an SEO campaign to help bolster their ranking on the major search engines.

TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. All teachers in China are required to have attended and successfully completed a TESOL certification course before they are allowed to work.

Will-Excel TESOL filled their January/February program this year with fifteen new teachers. Their March/April intake, which is generally the slowest time of the year for TESOL courses, also saw an increase in enrollment.

“We’re obviously very pleased that our program is attracting more talented and professional teachers,” said Dan Symes, Will-Excel TESOL’s President. “As our program leads to a higher-level qualification, a TESOL Diploma, as compared with just a standard TESOL certificate, our TESOL course tends to attract more competent and dedicated teachers. All of our courses’ participants know that they’ll be working toward their Diploma for six months, and this type of structure seems to bring out more high quality individuals.”

The Will-Excel TESOL Institute issues 160-hour TESOL certificates, TESOL Diplomas, which combine the 160-hour TESOL certification course with 500 hours of real teaching experience at a partner school, as well as Master in TESOL Diplomas.
