ZiggyTV has spent over 5 years identifying TV content sites and sees itself as a search engine for finding online TV content. Currently they link to over 9000 sites that offer online media content. The media content can be viewed via a desktop software or ziggytv.com. End users can watch TV, listen to online radio stations, and play online games.
There are a lot of free TV content on the Internet, including all the most popular video streaming and hosting sites, that offer webmasters/bloggers “embed codes” to add the content to their sites or blogs. This practice of offering “embed codes” to webmasters/bloggers has been around since the beginning of YouTube and has become a very popular way for content owners to promote their content to the global wide world of the Internet.
ZiggyTV is also in the process of developing a software that will allow the end user to DVR any online media content. The Digital Video Recording software will give end users the ability to record and view the content at a more convenient time. “..We want the end user to have the same abilities to record media content as they do from their cable or satellite provider…” says Sanjay from ZiggyTV.
ZiggyTVs mission is to provide users the ability to watch what they want when they want. They are constantly looking for new ways to offer their end users access to the content they seek.
