Ottawa, Ontario (POST) October 4, 2011 – Zylog Ottawa is serving a complimentary breakfast for individuals in the local community who donate blood for the Canadian Blood Services.
Partners for Life is a nationwide program designed for corporate and community organizations, and by joining the program, Zylog makes a commitment to save lives by donating blood as a team. The need for blood is ongoing, and patients who are treated for such things as cancer, surgery, and trauma depend on a stable supply of blood year round, which is why Partners for Life organizations have the power to save lives!
Zylog Ottawa will host the breakfast catered by Nancy’s Fancy French Toast with maple syrup from the valley, sausages, fruit salad, orange juice and coffee. The breakfast and donations will be at the Zylog facility at the Carling Executive Park, 1545 Carling Avenue, Laurier Room on the 3rd Floor, Ottawa, Ontario, K1Z 8P9. Look for the Zylog sign when traveling west on the Queensway. Breakfast and opportunity for donations will be available from 8AM to 10AM on Wednesday, 12 October.

A representative of the Canadian Blood Services will give a short presentation on the program and be available to answer any questions about donations. After the presentation you will also have the opportunity to find out your own blood type, which could be very useful for you to know.
